Privacy policy
Last updated 11 August 2026
This is a working draft. It describes how Korbee actually behaves today, but it has not been reviewed by a lawyer and the operator's registered details are still to be filled in. Have it checked before you rely on it.
1. Who is responsible
The controller of the personal data described here is [legal entity, registered address and company number]. For anything about this policy, write to hello@korbee.app.
When you use Korbee to hold other people's data, promoters, crew, clients, you are the controller of that data and we process it for you.
2. What we hold
- Account. Name, email, password hash, language, the plan you are on, and your settings.
- What you put in. Careers, shows, advancing, contacts, contracts, invoices, tasks, calendar entries, messages, and the files you upload, which can include riders, stage plots, passports and press material.
- Billing. Subscription status and invoice history. Card details go to Stripe and never reach our servers.
- Assistant. Your conversations with it, and any memory you ask it to keep.
- Technical. Log data needed to run and secure the service: IP address, timestamps, request paths, error traces.
3. Why, and on what basis
- To give you the service you signed up for, and to bill you for it. Performance of a contract.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix faults. Legitimate interests.
- To send you transactional email about your account, your documents and your subscription. Performance of a contract.
- To keep the records tax law requires us to keep. Legal obligation.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your content to train anybody's model.
4. The assistant
When you use the assistant, the relevant part of your data is sent to a language-model provider so it can answer. It is sent to produce that answer and for no other purpose. What the assistant remembers between conversations is visible in your settings and you can delete any entry there.
5. Where it lives
Korbee runs on servers in the European Union, and your files are held in European object storage. Some of the services we rely on may process data outside the EU; where they do, the transfer rests on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
6. Who else sees it
Only the processors we need to run the service, each under a data processing agreement, and each receiving only what their job requires:
- hosting and database, and object storage for your files;
- Stripe, for subscriptions and payment;
- a transactional email provider, for the mail Korbee sends on your behalf;
- a language-model provider, for the assistant;
- where you connect them, social platforms and national e-invoicing systems, which receive exactly what you send through them.
We also disclose data where the law requires it, and to the people you invite into your workspace, which is your decision to make.
7. How long
Account and content data for as long as the account exists, and for thirty days after you close it so that an accident can be undone. Invoices and billing records for as long as tax law requires. Logs for a short retention window. Assistant memories until you delete them or close the account.
8. Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to processing, and take it elsewhere in a portable form. Write to us and we will answer within a month. If you think we have handled your data badly you can complain to the data protection authority where you live.
9. Cookies
Korbee sets the cookies it needs to keep you signed in and to remember your settings. This marketing site carries no analytics, no advertising pixels and no third-party trackers.
10. Children
Korbee is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
11. Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you before it takes effect. The date at the top says when it last changed.
12. Contact
Write to hello@korbee.app.
